Should I change my timing belt?

well....the question is:

where will you be, and under

what circumstances will you be

when it breaks.......

you will need a tow to home or garage....

you might have to spend a night somewhere..

or it might last another 50k

...your gamble.

OR you could take some $$ and buy some tools and spend a quiet sunday changing it yourself.

I know belts on many cars whereby the belt lasted over two thousand miles. I always said if something is running fine, then leave it alone. I had enough cars through the years to know that to be true in many cases.

If you plan on keeping your Toyota (Tomota??) Camry, then yes, you are most definitely due.

Absolutely! At 100,000 miles is when the manufacturer recommends changing it.

I have a 2001 tomota camry with 99k miles on it. It runs fine and i have no problems. Other than that its technically a salvaged car.

I've asked around and the prices are all basically the same. About $500-800 roughly. To replace the belt and pump.

Do i really need to replace the belt? Its a non interference engine so it wont cause damage if the belt breaks. Personally, i dont think its worth it if i can get another 50k out of it.

Welcome to any suggestions!
