Problem with 1990 Nissan 300zx N/A.....?

There are several Nissan Z owner's forums on the web. Google it, join one, and ask.

I don't believe any BS people tell me when it comes to cars.

It's a 24 year old sports car. Assume it's got issues.

If you expect to just get in it and drive, or fix it with new spark plugs, think again.

If you buy it, be prepared to pretty much strip the engine and recondition things. Then there is the suspension, alignment is probably out as the suspension bushes are shot. Shocks and brakes? Lets not even start on the electrics.

It's a project car, and priced as such. Expect to push it into you shed and spend 6 months and several thousand $$ getting it running properly again.

Always be wary when the current owner doesn't believe his car own is worth repairing, think about that. You might most likely be buying a rusty money pit.

Hi wake up in there this diagnostic answer makes sense. it is a 24 year old car which will be at best a scarpper.so why waste money and effort on it. he is selling it for spares as the rest of it the body panels will be useful.

You can't even drive this thing for two separate reasons, walk away!

Ok, So I am looking on craigslist for a manual car to get. I find a 90 Nissan 300zx N/A 2+2 for $2,000. The guy says it needs a tune up and fuel injectors to run 100%. He wrote that it currently bogs when at idle since one of the injectors is going out. But that's what him and his friends think. I asked him if I was able to drive it still and he said he would recommend towing it since it needs an alignment in the front. I asked him if he would take 1200 but the lowest he would go is $1,600. So I'm wondering if it's the fuel injector or not. And yes it is a SALVAGE title. He put a video up also to show the bogging.
