you can put 1200 volts across a spark plug but you will not get much if any spark.
you need at least 6000 volts.

i dont get you but you can't input that voltage through spark plug.. but output at sparkplug will be around 20000 - 26000v due to electrode reactions inside..
nothing stops you from putting 1200V across sparkplug but if you expect engine to work, you will need several times that voltage plus the timing has to be correct (you cannot use continuous voltage, must be a well defined pulse).
