You have done well do far. Air flow (which rice completely prevents) and modest heat are the trick. At work I disassemble and use isopropyl alcohol but it is not for the public. I have seen too much rice damage, which is worse than any heat damage I have seen. I can never get all the rice residue out and it is corrosive when wet.
Place the phone on a bed of rice in a dish, cover with clingy plastic wrap. The uncooked rice with draw the moisture out of the phone ( 12 hours about ). NEVER BLOW DRY A PHONE, the heat is too much for a phone which uses delicate adhesives that a blow dryer can melt. If the phone still works, enjoy it, if not get a new one.
take back in battery out of phone
wipe phone down as good as you can all water off place hairdryer about a foot away let it run for at least one hour without throwing power on the phone before you do this. R
Flip phone
around front and back, make sure there's no moisture left in the screen. who will become foggy as you do this. but that is OK.flip it when he gets hot to touch.
Let battery set in normal temperature to dry
Get a bowl and put rice in it and phone then leave it over night!
