Unacceptable !! I've been buying lowly Ford products for the past 20 years . . . . have yet to find a single imperfection in any of their paint jobs..........certainly not tolerable on a MKS.
Don't know the terms of your warranty: mine give a shorter period of time to report inperfection in the finish, upholstery and other trim items than on the mechanics of the car. Get to the dealer promptly and report. Take GOOD photographs of the imperfections. If the dealer balks at making it good, either ask them to contact the factory rep, or contact the factory yourself (instructions on how to in your warranty brochures).
From the way you describe it, I'm guessing that the car was damaged in transit or at the dealership - and portions repainted by the dealer . . . . poorly. You have a right to expect a perfect car !
Hi,
I recommend taking your vehicle to a Ford Dealer and speaking with the service manager. He’ll be in the best position to look into any warranty, assistance, recalls, or customer satisfaction programs that may apply to your vehicle.
Locate a dealer near you and set up an appointment with the link below:

Have a great day!

No, I don't think this will be covered. If you go to a highly rated detail shop, they should be able to buff and polish the area and make it look like new.
Sounds to me like they are swirl marks from compounding. You must use POLISH or glaze with a high speed buffer to remove the swirl marks.
it looks like my paint is cloudy on the back bumper of my car, it also appears that there are scratches below the surface of the paint going different directions, I have never seen anything like this before, it's still under warranty, what do u think it is, and do you think it will be covered?
