on board w/ gee-man!
but,
depends on how thick the coat is. one coat, outside, warm temps, agreed, 15 min maybe. for just "dry" or re-app. employing mist coats, less time between apps. which one should do for best results. mist coats that is.

FYI,
paint can info can tell ya when you can re-app or touch with hands. not all can info will tell you when paint is cured/gassed out. depending on surface and coat thickness, gassing can take 24-72 hours.longer in some cases.
gassing out is way different than just dry.
does not *directly* apply to cardboard. too big a varriable with that material. it drinks.
READ INSTRUCTIONS.usually the instructions tell you how long the paint takes to dry (approx) and what it is used for.
cardboard and metal would need different kinds of paint obviously,so probably won`t have a very good result if used for something different.
Maybe it doesn't have to be completely dry for you to work with it.
Maybe 40 mins, an hour.
If you didn't mix in the hardener it could take a very long time .
How long does paint take to dry? I had car paint and I used it to paint a piece of cardboard (I didn't have any other kinds of paint). Then, I put it out in the sun to dry like 5 minutes ago. It's about 86 degrees outside. About how long will it take to dry?
