I'm having the exact same problem with an '04 Kia Rio. My dad thinks it's the belt to the clutch :/
If you have a hydraulically actuated clutch, check and top off the fluid reservoir.
if it is cable actuated, have it adjusted. if it is hydraulic, that can be a few issues like a leaking master or slave cylinder.
it has a clutch cable
Ok so here is the problem... My car is a 1992 Suzuki Sidekick. When my car is turned off, it shifts fine. When its on, it refuses to shift when the clutch is pushed in. When i start it in 1st gear even when the clutch is pressed in, the car jolts forward as if the clutch isnt putting the car in neutral. Also when im driving and trying to shift, it wont shift into gear when the clutch is pushed in...again like it isn t going into neutral and it will only shift at a specific rpm/speed. Any help in regards to the clutch itself, selenoid, or master cylinder is much appreciated
