Sounds like you blasted high pressure water into something and either fried it or caused it to function improperly.
I'd start by pulling every connection and cleaning/dielectric greasing. From there... Donno. I never, ever use a pressure washer on anything other than undercarriage or body panels. A good degreaser shout take a little scrubbing with a soft bristle brush to loosen up grime and then a gentile stream of water to wash it off, not 1500 psi!
I had almost similar situation. I did not pressure wash it though. The chk engine light came on and it was giving various codes, the car itself was running great. After getting assurance from the mechanic I drove it for a while. Then one day the battery started acting so I topped it with water. Since then everything resolved by itself. May be you have the same problem.
Way to not cover up any of the sensors or computer hello don't you think you screwed them up!
Take the bulb out lol i know someone who did that too. Thats what sucks about them computers they go retarded sometimes. Mine is on bc it says check gas cap so i know how u can feel annoyed
Have you ever considered having a competent technician check it out??
Justt recently I went mudding and got my truck dirty so I went to the car wash. I washed the engine with soap and water. Appartly I should've used soap according to a friend at school so I took his advice to get the mud off the engine. I bought a degriser from gunk and I sprayed it all over the engine. When I ran out of that I used wd40. Let it soak for 10 minutes. Then pressure washed my engine and it looked brand new! No problems started right up. So today I went to auto zone to scan my check engine light and it had a bunch of abs codes and lean codes from my 02 sensors. The guy told me maybe I got water in something I should've. Which is possible. He was talking about wheel bearings and abs sensors. But my abs light on isn't on and my abs works good. So I erased the light myself and it was gone. I started My truck up and the check engine light came back on! Why? It doesn't sound like its missing. It idles at 500 rpms great. Drives great! I've done a lot of work to it. That damn light won't go off! My uncle things the light won't go off because of an electrical issue. He said not to worry about it. There's some guts that even take the bulb for the check engine light out because they get so tired of it. I'm almost temped to do the same. Why is it always on?
