The transmission is done my friend
Tell me when your car is at 35 mph and your rpms at 2500 would it randomly go high and rev to 5000? Or redline? Transmission is cooked
There could be problems with transmission, go to a dealership or car repair shop.
If you are luck you only have a transmission fluid leak and it ran low, otherwise time to go transmission shopping.
So last night I start my car, drive and it runs normal for 10mins. Then it starts to act up, shut it off and turn it back on. Anytime I just pushed on the gas slightly, it sounds and feels like I have my car on park and I'm just revving the engine.
The car is in drive and I don't have the e-break engaged. I have to be really slow with gas in order for it to move at all, if I'm not slow pushing on the pedal or try to pass 25mph, then that's when it locks in for a bit and just start revving up until I let go of the gas.
I am lost with cars and the only that I can think of is maybe the gears aren't catching, it's a 2001 Nissan Altima, if that helps any.
