If your windows go down easy but not back up then I'd suspect the control switch panel.
To prove out to her that it wasn't the window motors or the regulators I bypassed the switches and could send the windows fully up in seconds. So she got a new control switch panel and that was the end of the problem.
If you can't operate the windows using jumpers then the regulator(s) motor(s) or other components are the issue - and that's located inside the door panels.
Hope this helps.

you did not mention the year and model but sounds like the regulator or cables pull the door panel and take a look
Whenever you ask a question about your vehicle, always include the basic information of year, make, and model.
If you can hear the motor working, it's likely the window regulator that is gone.
No mystery - it's broken - you have to get it fixed.
I noticed the other day when I would go to roll up my window it would go slow and I'd have to kinda pull it up to get it to go. Sometimes it would do this sometimes not. I got into the cat last night and rolled it down and now it won't go up! Its all the way down. I can feel a vibration in my door panel when I hold the window button in the up
position I can hear a slight noise. So could it be the motor? Also how on earth do I get my window up? Its gonna rain :/
