My car keep jerking when I accelerate?

Could be a transmission problem, but check the fuel filter is not clogged up and causing a partial blockage.

Your car appears to get turned on by speed. You gotta horny Hyundai :-D

Seriously though if its only jerking in third gear then it does sound like a tranny issue. When it jerks note what RPM its at the time and also how fast you are going. I'm curious if it happens at specific RPMS or speeds.

Sounds like a tranny problem. Was the transmissionlow on fluid? If so that may help, If not it will hurt.

Your transmission is bad.

Hey a drive a 05 hyuandai xg350. With 150,000 miles on it. Something that just started happening with me is my car start jumping anytime I accelerate. Like whenever I stop completely and drive again it jerk at the third gear but then drives smooth after that jerk but when I come to a stop it does the same thing.

I came to think it may be one of the belts because I do get that squealing sound coming from the belts when I turn the car on at times for like 20 seconds. I know they might need replacing and could that be the problem?

Btw I did check and top off the transmission fluid with about a quart to see if that helps but kept getting the same results.
