Depends entirely on the car. It's about 30mpg.
that's not good, on a bicycle you could go 52 miles in 1 day, but 1 gallon (about 3 liters) of gasoline produces as much co2 as we breathe out in 5 days, it also consumes 5 days worth of oxygen that a human could breathe. Going by that it's terrible, you probably got about 2 gallons of fuel, meaning you got 26 miles per gallon... Did you know the 1908 ford model T, the first production car ever, got 25 miles per gallon. By all standards it's bad.
It is average, I put £10 petrol in today and it was driving on empty and it told me on dashboard I will get 62mpg but in theory I dont get that I get around 45-50mpg
That isn't how you calculate MPG. Fill your tank. Drive a hundred miles or so, refill your tank and take note of how much it took to fill it. Divide the number of gallons it took to fill it by the miles you drove. That's your MPG.
its sounds about average for town travel in an average sized car.
yes its pretty good
When I out in £40 of petrol I get around 180 miles approx, but then all my driving is done in the city
and not on the motorway
it depends..... but i would say it's NOT bad
Is 52 miles for £10 petrol good or bad
