One of those adapter thingies that screws into a light socket, and has two electric outlets and still has a socket for the bulb.
Use this exact phrase and you'll be fine.

Any good hardware store should have them. A lamp light fixture outlet is the name I believe. I have several in use at my home.
They don't design such adaptor for lamps because of liability for causing fire
I want an adapter where you can screw it in where a light bulb would go and it would give me an socket which I can plug something in but still have an place for the light bulb. Can you tell me what its called and give me a link. thanks
