Im currently in school to be a professional welder and i was curios if im a welder would that mean im technically considered in the civil engineering field?

You could be considered to be in a number of fields but not a civil engineer. You are missing a 3 0r 4 physic classes, 8 to 10 math classes, several mechnical and electrical engineering classes, and a lot of civil engineering classes.

No, of course not - you have the basics of a craft profession when you graduate and your skills/training have nothing to do with Civil Engineering - designing and supervising large building projects like roads and dams.

The answer to your head question is, NO.

Welding is a skillful profession that is needed in general, in addition to civil works.

No.

And most Civil Engineers do not know how to weld. They do not learn about welding.
