Is aeronautical engg a good choice for a girl?

well, aeronautical engg is very interesting branch, got wide scope & job opportunities.but the thing is the study is very complicated when compared to other branches like mechanical, civil etc.to study aerodynamics, aircraft structures, flight mechanics one need lot of basics, imagination & flight knowledge.software skill plays very important.one has to be master in 3D Model design, knowledge of software like Ansys, Catia etc is necessary.doing only bachelors isn't sufficient, you need to crack GATE to enter into Master in Aerospace.am a Gate qualified final year student of aeronautics from bangalore.my experience..to be frank, aeronautics is very simple,if u understand the subject.give it a try.good luck!!

If you like it, there is no difference if you are a girl (supposing you will work on (civilized) countries that do not discriminate women). Have a look on the source site (for aerospace structural engineers) and see what is done, the materials, requirements, programs a few things more.

Gender is not relevant to ANY kind of engineering. None of it takes big muscles just a good brain and some creativity.

Your gender is irrelevant to what kind of engineering you should be looking to do.

You should be looking for a subject that interests you, and that you find yourself to be good at.

may be you'll get seat for aeronauticl engg. But make sure they've job vacancy.

No. Not so good. Better go for CSE.
