Whether it's a vacuum cleaner, an air conditioner, a TV set,
a table lamp, or a lawn mower; when all hope is lost and
it's consigned for disposal, take it apart.... and fix it.
The required tools will be challenging, and you'll have to
build up a set.
The practical experience is indispensable for grasping the
theories involved.
if you want to be mcguyver kind of person, get into electrical engineering and you will feel like a king. you will learn about circuits, programming, power etc. then mechanical systems are simple contraptions.
You're jealous of fictional characters? So, you're jealous of people that aren't real?
Like basic stuff. I've always been so jealous of the fictional character in the movies. Ones that are always alone building helicopters and fixing computers. I know it's fictional but there are people like that and I want to know what do I need to do/study/read about (besides mechanics) to be able to at least know basic stuff. So I can be the IT of my house or something.
