I think I got water in my engine?

if hydro lock wont turn over ,and don't try to much can bend a rod , most likely air box is full of water ,take air box apart replace air filter and drain out water .

It's possible.

if the engine gets enough water in it, then it will hydro lock which is REALLY bad because you'll likely bend a rod or damage the values, or both.

I have seen it happen... hope that isn't the case for you but it's not sounding good.

best case scenario is that the filter is just too wet to let air through but it didn't suck a bunch of water into the engine.

seems more likely from your description that you have water in some electrics/electronics. If water has entered the actual engine it would have stopped dead not spluttered

some water had to get in. push it out with plugs removed.

If it shakes, you lose.

if you did you can pull the spark plugs and turn it over to push all the water out. then replace the plugs and it should be fine

So I'm driving this morning and the roads are flooded. I was only driving 5mph, but my intake is in my passenger side fender well. After about 10 mins of driving through this water, my car started to sputter out, same as if the air flow was restricted. I pulled over and it was bouncing between 500 and 1500 rpms until it died completely. I checked my intake and made sure all components were connected. My question is, did I get enough water in my engine to cause this problem?
