How would new tools be made?

Different forms of metal forming were always there, no matter how primitive they were. Axes, swords, knives.... etc can not be checked back for their original invension.

Before metal working ? You're back to flint axes and bone scrapers.

You can knap pretty sharp tools from stone, and with a bit of effort you could make a wood-turning lathe and woodworking tools, invent the wheel and axle and horse-collar and cart, then go invent metallurgy when you find some copper and tin ore, or find some iron meteorites and invent blacksmithing.

If you have no accurate measurement instruments, you'd have to do things by eye. You can estimate whether something is straight fairly easily by sighting down it.

Using a Lathe machine.

Just another one of my late night curiosities this time it's about the manufacturing of tools under a certain scenario. I know metal tool have been developed over a period of centuries but how would they be made if someone had all of the current knowledge to make them but before metal working was developed. Let's say this is the guy that starts it all again for the heck of it he would have all the knowledge of present day.
