Otherwise, the requirements are basically your math and science courses. Take all math/science every year until there's no more for you to take. Be interested in what engineering can offer you, how the career life is like. Do some research by Googling or searching on YouTube.
Preparation Tips
Students who are interested in pursuing a degree in engineering can prepare for the application process as early as middle school. By selecting a variety of science, mathematics, and engineering-related course work and participating in programs and projects that expose students to engineering concepts, students will have advanced exposure to university level work.
Pre-university Course Selection
While in middle and high school, students interested in engineering should consider taking accelerated courses in several of the following subjects.
Algebra II
Biology
Calculus
Chemistry
Computer Science
Language Arts
Precalculus
Physics
Second Language
Trigonometry
Practice, practice and practice your skills. You have to analyze and think in Engineering. You also have to be very good in designing, particularly in your interests, you can get in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. Those classes will help you, for sure.
