Yes, replace the hose, it's really that simple.

Of course, there are other places. Just remember that the "rubber" hose must be fuel resistant. You can't just stick any rubber on it.

If you can get your hands up there to change it, by all means do so!!! Just use fuel resistant hose, Bet ya gotta drop the tank, tho. Make sure you soup up the tank strap bolts w/ LOTS of pen. oil.

Get that corrected immediately or else you may have a huge bonfire, with you in the middle of the flames. It's very, very serious.

The gas is leaking out from a point before it reaches the gastank. I loose a few ounces on the ground every time I fill up and if its filled too much. Its not the tank itself, its some kind of hose with a hose clamp on it that the gas is seeping through. IS the fix as simple as replace that hose and apply a new clamp? Can it come off without dropping the tank or doing anything else?
