How should I begin my engineering carrier?

You don't need a "sure shot" placement. All you need is to eventually get a placement, perhaps after 10 or 20 attempts. Business Product Outsourcing is easy to get into, but not very rewarding. There are some electrical engineering companies out there that do not want brilliant students, rather they want somebody who will not rock the boat and will give them credibility. You could get a job as a technician in such a company. Such companies are generally government funded, such as the aerospace industry. Many "spook"-related compaies have the same problem.

To locate such a company, make a LinkedIn account and ask all of your 3rd order contacts if they know of such a company. You should have a few hundred thousand such contacts, of whom a dozen or so will know of a suitable place.

Join CDAC-Pune center..That is the best 6 months diploma course. They also have placement cell. Please check here : http://www.cdac.in/?id=pune

Don't know if this will help or not, but:

Learn all the mathematics you can. :)

FIRST LEARN SOME ENGLISH, ITS NOT "CARRIER"

I passed my B.tech in electrical in 2011 and got 61%. I worked in a BPO for 10 months and now I want to pursue my carrier in electrical field. Engineering exams are too difficult and other electronic companies want brilliant students. What should I join to sharpen my industrial skill and get a sure shot placement in a good company? I'm from India. Sitting at home for 8 months has taken energy, confidence, will and passion out of me.
