Leave it alone.
Ball park figure 300 quid for shocks and springs plus a couple of hours labour ~ and what do you get at the end of it, a thoroughly unpleasant car to drive in which you will feel every little bump, which means you will need to avoid speed bumps, scrape the front end when coming down the ramps in some multi storey car park. It won't make your car corner any faster and when you come to sell it no one over 20 will want it.
You will think it looks cool, many will think it looks stupid.
Total waste of money. Doesn't improve performance at all. Increases stopping distance and wears out suspension parts much faster. A completely bad idea all around.
If you slip the salesman a few hundred bucks, I'm sure he can lower the price for you.
Cost?
Not sure, but if it is new, kiss your warranty goodbye ;)
4 new coils/shocks, plus whatever parts to fix camber issues, then, repair to bumpers/exhaust/undercarriage every time you hit a big bump...
A lot, if you can't manage to DIY, and a waste of money.
waste of money, put it towards something that will earn you money.
I'm looking at buying a Peugeot 206 gti and I was just wondering how much it would cost to get it lowered? Just like what it shows in the picture? Should I do it myself or get it done by a professional? Many thanks.
