Completely ignore the advice from Nathan or you're going to get hurt.
These are very dangerous voltages if you put these capacitors in parallel. I'd say you reduce the voltage significantly for your experiments then scale it with an EE who is familiar with this first.
Get a 110VAC to 220VAC transformer and apply the 220VAC output to voltage doubler.
You will need about 500W.

At best you you will not be successful. At worst you will be injured. Forget it.
I'm making a coil gun and i don't want to us a bunch of disposible camera chargers, i want to use a transformer but im technologically challenged so try to dump it down as much as you can. Im using 6 400v 470uf capacitors. I need to know what tipe of transformer and all the details. please help
