a cubic meter is a measure of volume
you cannot convert between the two
you can calculate(not convert) from one to the other if you have the density of the material
It could be a "shipping ton" which is a cubic meter (Usually). Ask a shipper.
the same way as you convert feet to pounds
Those are good answers: Except for water, you cannot; and you need the right temperature, and/or impurities to make one cubic meter of water = a short tone, a long ton or a metric ton. There are a few other possibilities such as a cubic meter of trash and garbage often weighs almost one ton, so you can add enough heavy trash to get one ton, and/or you can compact the trash.
It dépends on the density of the material!
1 m^3 of Lead is a different mass to 1 m^3 of Butter.
Without a density statement no you cannot convert volume to mass.
