I've struck a dead armadillo in the road... HUGE armadillo, and that threw out the alignment too.
Get it checked now. If you ignore it, a bad misalignment will eat up your tires in no time.
that front bumper fascia isn't that sturdy. if you didn't even dent that, then you may not have hit the deer hard enough to do any serious damage. That front fascia can get pushed in pretty easy; its not the actual bumper, its just there for styling. the real bumper is behind it.
sounds like what you did was equivalent to hitting a curb head on.. that throws out alignment and can break belts in tires.
an alignment costs about 50 bucks but you're supposed to do it about every 10,000 miles anyways.
Write to Deer Abby- 'I got your sister, cough up $4 million or I park my Camry on your lawn'.
How could a dead deer be going 40 MPH? Is this a fabricated story?
You just check to see if anything is leaking.
A deer is that big and you didn't see it.
Hi so time to get it to a toyota dealer and get them to fix it is the simple answer.
I drive a 07 toyota camry. So I hit a dead deer tonight going about 40 (couldn't swerve) but nothing seems wrong with my car. I drove it for the rest of my length which was probably another half hour or so and nothing. I looked underneath when I got home and saw nothing. Aside from the little bit of blood on the front of it and a little scrape but other than that it is driving fine. I just want to know how long I have to wait if my oil pan or radiator is damaged. Had someone check it out and everything looked good. No holes in the radiator or anything. I have damaged my oil pan before with my old car & it took me the next day to realize it because that's when my light came on. And I also had a problem with a broken water pump where my car overheated. But I have never had a problem with this car. I'm pretty nervous about this sort of stuff so please someone answer.
