The danger depends. I suggest you take it to a service station or garage. They will clean it if there is any danger. Maybe there is a danger since there is smoke.
Hi steam cleaning of the engine is what is needed.
idk
I noticed a pool of oil under my car the other day, and checked around for leaks. It was coming from my filter - somehow my filter had come loose. So, I tightened it up, and ran my car to see if that fixed it, and it did - no more leak. However, there is oil all over the engine surrounding the filter, and it has been smoking lightly as it burns off. Is there a danger in letting it burn off now that it isn't leaking, and what's the best way to clean it off?
