A 78 Bronco did not come with a 460. If the valves are stuck then the engine is hurt bad.
Are they actually stuck or is it a matter of excessive lifter preload holding them off their seats..?
Hard to say without a little bit of detective work. Definitely some issues and unknown's.
very bad ! then get stuck because the valve bends ! you can pull the heads and have a valve job done !
Recent attempts to start.... 2 valves are stuck causing to hydraulic thru carb. (I think I got that right). This info came from an interested buyer.
This is on a 1978 bronco with a 460ci. I don't know if the engine is factory.
