There won't be any damage even if you didn't wash the car. Get good detergent from the auto parts store, wash , dry , then wax ALL BY HAND. Doing this once a week will make it so you can use the hood as a mirror!!
No. Just get the appropriate cleaner when you get back. Your local automotive supply store will have something.

The freaking sprinklers at my shopping center left white hard water spots on my car paint. I drove to the touchless wash but it did not help in removing the spot. I did ot have time to wash it again as I had to travel out of town. The car is currently parked in my garage, is it causing any damage by letting it sit for 1 week?
