Etching PCB using Vinegar?

Yes, it'll do the the job but it take long time. Why not use sulfuric acid from the car battery for a faster rate? It's very cheap in the auto part.

Vinegar is acetic acid. It will etch copper. Use heat to accelerate the etching.

NO, vinegar is a weak acid that has PH 5. Use any acid has PH 0 like HCL can do.

Commercial grade PCB does not use acid, it uses cutting technique.

Ferric Chloride is the proper etching solution you can buy a small bottle of it at Radio Shack. Its called PCB etchant.

Is it possible to Etch a Copper board using just vinegar? I heard this is possible, but I am not sure. If it is possible, how can the process be accelerated? Using electricity, heat, etc?

Thanks!
