Engineering college Crisis?

Posted at: 2015-01-07
Have you a problem with your hearing, or is it a case of language difficulty??

It is really difficult to understand everything in the class. You must do some self study if you want to understand.

And if you really want to be a good engineer, only reading books won't help, you will need to understand your main subjects. (Be sure you won't understand each & every subjects tought to you) because it's sad but a true fact that finally what you study in the college just doesn't matter once you are in an industry after passing out. That time you will need your skill & understanding capability to learn a whole new world.

So don't worry. I hope you can remember the days after you started your 10+2 courses - more or less similar experience I guess. This phase will pass by soon...

All the Best

Hi.. yes you may talk to your teachers and seek help. But you should remember that engineering cannot be learnt through books. so pay attention during ur practical/lab sessions. they are very important.

I am sure once you voice your problem to ur teachers they wil sure help u.

try carrying ur notes or study material and read them during your travel or break time. Group study with friends might also help. learning through sharing of knowledge definitely is better than self-learning. this might also help u in improving ur communication skills which and very important to fech u job tomoro n which is something that u should definitely work on.

Friend don't worry....this is usually faced by most of the students...

There is no solution if you complaint about that teacher, nobody bothers to change him...rather you degrade yourself in front of him...which is serious for you....

Make your self study schedule...

...at the time of lecture bring your book too...try to make notes solve question and indulge that teacher in the querries of the topic...if he is not teaching drive him to tech you...

Remember in engineering never become too dependent on teachers

mentor yourself to excel....

Not all techers are bad....

Make efforts you will be habitual

You can quit. It's called flunking out. Find a subject better suited for you.

Ok ,, i need some serious help .. i am in engineering and i dont understand a word any of the lecturers say in class, many of the m have very poor communication skills and put little effort in their work.

I believe that if i do some self study, like from a book or something i will get better marks and will have more understanding of the subjects, the problem is that i spend 10-11 hours at college and can't devote time for self study, what shall i do? my college requires 75% of attendance.

should i tell this to my class teacher (How without being rude or indecent)?principal?

will they help me?

what are my other options?

i cant take a drop or leave, parents wont allow/
