If it works ok you should be ok, but if not, like Mark says try uncooked rice or a warm airing cupboard and see if the marker goes back to white, you might have to leave it for a day or so, it won't dry out in a short time.
im sorry to say this but its probably broken but its possible if you bring it to a phone fixing place your can get it fixed.

Try putting phone in un-cooked rice, will help draw out moisture. Fingers crossed.
I was running a bath and there was literally a centimetre of water in the bath when my phone dropped in... I have a samsung s4 mini I checked the indicator sticker and its black. Its supposed to be white im freaking out im at my sisters house and she will freak when I tell her what I did and shel be on the phone to my mum who will go mental at me.
