An MOT only shows that the car was fit to pass then, five minutes later the car may be unable to pass.
Sounds like a dry ball joint. If it did not have excessive play it could pass though you'd expect an advisory. Get it looked at if you can't see it. It could break suddenly and that's dangerous if your doing more than walking pace.
a wheel bearing does not creek / wheel bearings either make a humming sound or a wine-ing sound ,,like what you are doing. creeking comes from dry out suspension bushes , wish-bone joints , top damper mounts, sway bar link arm bushes, ..although ur not actually specifying exactly where abouts the noise is coming from ,
And just what is your question
I originally had this creaking noise near my right tyre. It use to happen now and then at low speeds and then 1 day started at normal speed so I checked I found my back plate was loose so I guessed it was rubbing on the rotary disc. As it got looser the noise got louder and more frequent at different speeds so I removed it and noise disappeared. However now and then at slow speeds the creaking would happen. So last week I replaced the back plate and got it mot'd and replaced front break pads. No issues were found in the mot. There was no more issue at all regardless of speed but now a week later at slow speed the creaking came back and got loud. I parked up in a car park checked the area and noticed nothing. As soon as I drove again the noise completely disappeared. If it was a wheel bearing etc would it not of been picked up in the mot last week as the noise occurred before?
