Could my rims cause my tires to go flat?

chrysler chrome wheels are great looking when they are new, after time the chrome will start to peel and crack off..then it will corrode especially around the bead or where the tire seals itself to the rim...they need to be taken off and grind the corrosion offthe lip of the wheel until smoothe...then have your tire tech apply some bead sealer around the wheel on both beads that should stop your leaks!!

Any tire will loose a small amount of air over time. If your tires are going flat then I would suspect someone is letting the air out of your tires on purpose. A bent wheel can cause the tire to loose pressure but you would not have 4 bent wheels and that would be easy to spot. Any decent tire shop can find out what the problem is.

Chrysler chrome rims were a huge headache. The chrome flakes off on the inside and causes leaks forever, nothing you can do but throw the rims away and get some different ones. I've seen this problem on these rims for years.

It's a fact that OEM (original equipment manufactures) wheels which are made in China, may become porous and leak air over time.

Go to the dealer of the car or a large tire shop. Ask them to remount the tires, *clean the bead surfaces on the wheels then use *black bead sealer on the wheel beads before remounting and re-balancing.

They could but you need to take the wheel off and mix a little dish soap with water and put it in a spy bottle and spray the entire tire, wheel and valve stem.. It will bubble up where the leak is.

Sounds like your tires are sized up wrong. Go to a different mechanic to buy tires.

What or why are they going bad ?? Nails & screws ?? You need a reason why to try & avoid that situation.

IDK, but your local tire shop who put your tires on is who you should be asking.

I have a Chrysler 300 year 2001. I always seem to have problems with my tires getting flat. Whenever I buy new tires they still go flat. I asked if my rims could cause the problem, but the guy said no. Am I getting the wrong tires or what's the problem?
