Comparing the flow of charges between DC and AC circuit?

an someone help me compare the flow of charges between a DC and an AC circuit?

In DC the charges flow in one direction.

In AC the charges fl9ow back and forth at a set frequency.

For resistive circuits the heating effects (power loss) are the same for a DC current and the same RMS AC current. 1 amp DC=1 amp RMS

I wish I could but I dropped out of physics class. Basically in AC, current travel alternates forward and backward while in DC, current flows straight and constant (one direction). I guess the charges is the difference in emf in one period... idk. I dropped out of physics.

ones a direct flow and ones an alternating flow

can someone help me compare the flow of charges between a DC and an AC circuit?
