Why not just use the headlight cleaning kits sold a auto parts stores? They have the materials and like a rough, medium and fine rubbing pad and sealant. May cost more, but might work better. Or like the other guy said use toothpaste.

It won't work.
You need a headlamp restorer if they are acrylic headlamps.
Most are abrasive kits.
There is one called Pittman Original 1 step ALR
if you can find it that works chemically.
Just use toothpaste, it works really good and its not bad for your head lights!
