People are always going the cheapest route and end up damaging something else.
I think your problem is between the steering wheel and the seat. I suggest you have it towed to the nearest what ever the hell it is dealer and stop screwing around.
If you are extremely lucky, it blew a fuse. Check all of them. Some are under the hood.
Lets just jump wires running to the computer and see what happens!!! Wonder what you fried while you were playing mechanic!!
It was the bcm fuse
I was trying to program an fob key remote and online I read I had to jump the odb port with a wire. After I jumped it I couldn't program the key and now my car won't start. Everything work just no dash lights and no start. What could be the problem?????
