Failing to have the codes read will only lead to a lot of wasted time and money guessing on the internet. Check back when you have the codes.

first pull the codes most major part stores do it for free.. my idea is the coil packs or coil.. form the sounds of it is spark..

You can take your car to auto zone and they will scan it for free and they will tell you what's wrong

hmmmm, I wonder what the check engine light is for....

My check engine light has been intermittent for a while. My engine occasionally seems to misfire (momentarily halts and then continues as normal) which turns on the Check Engine Light. Today it was still on from the misfire, and my car struggled to start. Anyone know what it could be? I want to say spark plugs but I only replaced them a couple of months ago
