Of course you can special order parts from your favorite parts store. Or from any parts store that you want for that matter.
If its popular special order item...I would call around to who has the best price..how long it will take to arrive at their store and very important their return policy of the special order. Don't forget to ask what the warranty is as well
Even if its NOT a popular item...in most cases it will have to be ordered. Also..just a word of advice...go to the larger stores like Napa...Autozone... Oreillys...Pep Boys..they have better purchasing power to offer the special order part at a lower price than a mom n pop auto parts store
