Catherine: The medical device is requiring a steady level of voltage, thus there can be no variation in this flow, e.g., health issues are at risk otherwise, i.e., heart rhythms. Also, circuits can vary and this device will require almost no variation. There is a ground-fault line that has been designated for the specialized medical equipment. The Maintenance Department may be able to assist you further there at your location. Many thanks!
The device has a plug and socket as specified by the DIN 0200 standard. You should not plug it into any other socket.
The plug is the yellow thing.
Hi,
I am reading about a medical device and I don’t understand the line in capital letters in the paragraph below. I am not a native English speaker. Please, explain this line to me, thanks:
“For operating the device in rooms of group 2 as per DIN VDE 0200, it is necessary that the device with a corresponding cable is connected to the stationary earthing of the room or equipment truck.
THE DEVICE THUS HAS A CORRESPONDING PLUG AND SOCKET DEVICE (as per DIN 0200).”
