It depend on the appliance read the manual some appliances can be used temporarily , usually you need a transformer. It's dangerous (*'0'*) I had an electric tooth brush from US at first with my adaptor power socket is 250V in my country us 110V it worked than it blew up charging one day.I think short-term is key.

IF THE APPLIED VOLTAGE IS MUCH HIGHER, THE DEVICE CAN FAIL iF THERE IS A FUSE, IT WILL BLOW.

So first check and ensure that voltage is correct and then check whether the socket is rated for the desired current.

Dear,

Thanks, am also fine like you then dear for your remind please do not plug because due to double the voltage rated socket will damage by drawing more current cause fire or smoke.

Yes, you can. Then you should call the fire department, because you're going to have a fire in your house. Or at least, a lot of smoke.

What? Im asking seriously here
