I'm sure there's a way since laptops have some pretty serious batteries for their size, but I think the better question is "Can I jump start a car battery with my laptop and survive the experience unscathed?"

it should not have the voltage or the needed amps available. the smallest battery i have seen for a car had at least 400 cold cranking amps (CCAs) that battery in the computer should not have any where near that. i talk to my fiance about stuff like this and often.
