Well if you wanna be like awesome rich guy then you should do software or computer engg, mechanical is just great in india but not in other countries plus if you wanna just stay here "india" than mechanical is great but dream about job in other companies you should do any "computer related"
Choose in which u r interested. Bt my choice is to choose computer science. As from tjis u can get good job n easily if u do from any good colgs.
Ofc mechanical is better. And its more paying than computer. But i must say that u should choose that in which u are intersted.

im confused between computer science engineering and mechanical engineering.....im from karnataka and i can get mechanical engineering in MSRIT bangalore and computer science in SJCE mysore based on my KCET ranking for B.E...i dont know what to choose can anybody help me??im also interested in writing GATE 2017.....and im very good in mathematics
