Check ur spark plugs, make sure tey didnt get wet. But DONT try turning the car back on until u know everything is dry. The best thing to do is wait for a hot day, open the hood. N just let it dry. Then check that u have no leaks, check that mothin got wet. The. Turn on the engine and have someone check for misfires
Was the "water drain thing" a HOLE? Loud thump/bang? Check for wheel or wheel bearing damage, disc brake caliper/rotor damage, or drum brake shoe/wheel cylinder damage. Left or right? Front or back?
The rear brake hardware is stuck in the wheel.
cartalk.com is a good place to find a recommended mechanic who will look at your car problem.
Thats comPletely normal. However, you must have wet something ehen u went over that puddle and it has mothing to do with the wheels. Either your engine or ur fan. Most likely ur fan.
I have a 2005 dodge neon and I was driving home from babysitting at night and it was sprinkling outside, as I was leaving the neighborhood the car was fun until I went over a water drain thing after I went over that I had to make my car work really hard in order for the tires to spin just a little, I could tell something was wrong so I got out of the car got my flashlight and checked all around my wheels and I looked under my car and nothing looked out of place. So I got in and continued to drive home then my car would make a loud very high pitched screeching sound an it sound like something was dragging on the ground and I still had to press the pedal very hard for my car to move and once I took my foot off the pedal it stopped... Before any of this my brakes were squeaking a bit and new brake fluid didn't help that... Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong???
