No hazards, its just to keep the original floor carpeting clean. When you decide to sell your car, it will look better when the original carpeting is clean and would probably has a little higher value.
The hooks can be easily replaced. Or just buy carpet fasteners for that purpose, there are hooks that holds on to the floor carpet with clips on top to hold the floor mats.
no hazards as i know of ! all the floor mats are for is to help keep the carpent clean ! you could always cut a piece of house carpet and throw in your car if you don,t want to buy car mats !
No hazards. Depends on your comfortability. Bt having floor mats will let you have your inside of car very much clean. However its your choice pal.
It's for cleanness really, it's not like you can take out the interior of your car and hose it down, and it's not like you hose the inside of your car. Why would there be a safety hazard to not using it? Just be careful not to get anything on your car's actual floor. And could the floor mats possibly damage your car? Can't you just get new ones?
no hazards. if you want to keep the mat, get some velcro with adhesive on the back then stick it to the bottom of the mat with the velcro to the carpet.
The hooks on my mirage and civic are basically ripped off thanks to the floor mat, and the civic is half a yea old. I don't see any point in having a floor mat anyway.
