Any advice for studying electronics engineering?

You don't say what kind of programming (language?). Look at it as an opportunity to learn and just do your best. Most programming at this level is about learning a few rules and then applying them to a basic logic problem. I doubt that you will need to develop complex algorithms. Even electrical engineers sometimes need to understand a little about programming.

friend !! as being Electronics engineering student i really understand that programing sucks. i have also faced the same problem that you have shared, i was new to programing when first entered in college.

i got C grade in that sem and managed to pass any how. but just before 1 year of my campusing i realized that i an Nil in programing , then i joined some private coaching and managed my time parallel to my classes and now i can say that i have some idea of programing now. i can now understand and can try to do some new programing in JAVA and C.

if you try your self to learn anything then you will obviously do better.

as you are electronics engineer you must have knowledge of some of the basic programing because all and microprocessor circuit will do for your only if you them.

go and look at the geeky magazines on electronics & computers & look for one with names like Electronics for Beginners or Simple Electronics. Buy a few copies & read them. There are usually a number of projects in each copy. Pick one you think you can handle & build it. Work out why it doesn't work & fix it. Pick another & repeat.

Try your local library once you know what magazines suit you & see if the library already subscribes to them & if they are willing to do so for you. Librarians are nearly always are keen to help!

Most engineering jobs in market do not require programing. Just pass the requirement programing course shall be fine.

I wasn't a great student until I figured out what to do. What you need to do it figure out what you don't understand and why. Then study the material you have available to help you, make notes and write yourself an explanation of how to do the problems. It works.

just enjoy the subject

hi! im an upcoming 4th yr electronics engineering student. im not that smart but i can say that im average student. the truth is i feel a little pressured eventhough classes havent started yet. i have programming class (which iSUCK) and i need words of advice so that i could focus in this subject.

i really suck at programming.. help.......
