Putting gas oil mix in the moped shouldn't prevent it from starting. All that will do is cause it to smoke a bit when running. There's probably something else wrong with it.
Although it's not good for a 4-stroke engine, fuel with oil added for a 2-stroke should still work in a 4-stroke. It would just cause excess exhaust smoke, coat the spark plug, etc.
But if it is not starting, try to drain the fuel from the tank and carburetor and replace with fresh fuel.
Usually you like in all vehicle you have to completely drain it then add new fuel if it does not start you may need to have it rebuit..
two cycle fuel mix dont have enough oil in it to hurt anything................. dump it ,put in fresh gasoline.and if it wont start,..............figure out whats else is wrong with it
My brother in law is autistic and accidentally put weed wacker mixed gas in his moped, now it won't start. Any ideas how I can fix this without going to a shop?
