A vaccum powered bike?

Is it possible? Sure. Is it a good idea? No. All the suction is doing is replacing the mechanical linkage of the motor to the wheel. Except instead of a chain, which is extremely efficient, you have moving air, which isn't. It would be much more effective to just take the motor out of the vacuum, connect a sprocket to it, and use that to turn the chain.

Possible but very inefficient. Where would you get the suction? From a large battery, motor, and pump is the only possibility I can see. Much more efficient to just connect the motor directly to the wheel via a chain.

NO ! Vacuum is not a power source. It is the outside air forced into a vacuum chamber to balance the pressure difference. Generate vacuum wastes more energy that it produces.

You can not produce enough power from the source what you are mentioning.

So I was playing around with suction on a vacuum and I took a hair dryer fan and put it on the hose and the fan was rotating freely from the suction and was wondering if anyone has mad bike that is driven by suction instead of a chain. Is it possible to have suction drive the back wheel or have it rotate with out peddling.
