1/4(3m-2)=2/7(5m-2)+9?

This is just so annoying

Hello Jay proper presentation is needed. Let me take this way. Right?

1/4 * (3m-2) = 2/7 * (5m-2) + 9

Multiply through out by 28

So we get 7(3m-2) = 8(5m-2) + 252

Or 21 m - 14 = 40 m - 16 + 252

Or 19 m + 250 = 0

Or m = -250/19

If it is some thing other than this then you should have given with proper brackets.

Multiply each term by a common denominator between 4 and 7. Well, there is only one and it is 28

So:

When you do that you get:

7(3m - 2) = 8(5m - 2) + 252

21m - 14 = 40m - 16 + 252 Now rearrange the like terms and solve for m

m = -(250/19)

What about it? Other than that you find it annoying, that is.
